Assalamualaikum everybody ., today i will share with you about Needs and Wants.

This age old debate is a mental and emotional struggle that everyone deals with.  Some deal with it better than others, but there are some that allow it to completely consume them.  Anyone that is trying to get out of debt must get a grip on this debate and find a common ground.  Wants versus needs will always play a role in our purchasing, but we have to learn how to control them in order to make better decisions.  If you are currently looking into starting a debt reduction plan or are on one, then this is something that is very important to learn. Well, figuring out the difference between the two is important for anyone who wants to use their money wisely.
Emotional buyers are the most likely to fall victim to the wants versus needs paradox.  Trust me, I used to be a very emotional buyer. When I was sad, bored, or angry, I would go purchase something. Emotional buyers tend to only use their current state to rationalize a purchase.  This group of people tend to have higher amounts of debt (I could check that one off a few years ago).  I used to be an emotional buyer.  Now, after a long struggle, I have become more rational in my purchase decisions.  This was not an easy task, but it has already saved me thousands of dollars per year.  I now longer buy with my emotions, but use cognitive reasoning to control my spending.  Here is how I break down wants versus needs.

I Really WANT It

We all want something, whether it be the newest iPhone or a new pair of clothing.  Our emotions can easily get the best of us and before you know it, you have just dropped $500 on something that you don’t need.  In my case, it was $10,000 on a Jetski that I “really wanted!” When consumers put their emotions first in the buying cycle, they will try their best to rationalize their purchase.  Consumers will implant the word “Need” into their rationalization in order to make the purchase more appealing.  This act is how we end up getting deeper into debt, or even sometimes getting into debt in the first place.
If you use place this word into your spending rationale, then try out the “sleep on it” purchase method. I have used this for a past couple of years and it works really well. Basically, you get excited about a purchase, but instead of just going through with it, you stop, drop it, and go back and sleep on it. Try to go for a few days or even a week before you make the purchase. This method works really well for me.

The best way to counteract this predicament is to figure out what your actual needs are.  Here are the basic human needs:
  1. Food
  2. Water
  3. Shelter
  4. Clothing
Now, we can expand these to dive deeper into each category, but these are still the basic needs for survival.  Everything else is typically classified as a want.  Using the word “want” is to help satisfy our emotions and keep our rationale intact.  Our issue as a society breaks down into how well advertising makes us feel that we “need” something, thus parting us from our hard-earned money. Apple does a really good job of this. People love their products and many feel they “need” the next iPhone, no matter if they just purchased one.
Think of wants versus needs in this manner. We all probably need some form of transportation to get around. What we want might be totally different. Yes, I may want the cool BMW to drive around in, but I don’t need it. We need a base model, but we want a luxury model.
If you want to see the wants vs. needs in action, just do some people watching at a mall or a place like that. You will hear people rationalizing their desire to purchase a product. We do this with house purchases as well. My wife and I actually moved into a house that is smaller than our last one. We didn’t need a large house, though we wanted one. Yes, we need shelter, but we want specific amenities. Just listen to a Realtor when they meet you for the first time when buying a home. “What do you need in a house?”  That answer is simple. We need four walls, a floor, a roof, and a door. The rest are wants.

The Best Way to Curb Spending

The only way you can start to curb your spending habits is by differentiating between your wants and needs.  You have to learn how to push out your emotional spender and bring in your rational one.  Taking a rational approach to your purchases and taking care of your needs will put you on the right track toward debt independence.

We never are able to fully curb our emotional spending, so the best way to handle that is to create a budget.  This budget will be dedicated to your emotional purchases, whether it be new electronics, clothing, or eating out.  Once you know how much money you have to spend toward these “wants”, then you can easily put them in better control.  Finding the happy medium between need spending and want spending is one of the best debt reduction tips around. If you don’t believe me, then just ask a reformed emotional spender. I’m one and this is exactly how I got myself under control!

If you want to excel in life, self motivation is essential. You must know how to motivate yourself. You must be able to keep your spirit high no matter how discouraging a situation is. That’s the only way to get the power you need to overcome difficulties. Those who are discouraged in difficult times are certain to lose even before the battle is over.
The question is: how do you motivate yourself? Here are several tips I’ve found to be effective to build self motivation:

1. Have a cause
I can’t think of a more powerful source of motivation than a cause you care about. Such cause can inspire you to give your best even in the face of difficulties. It can make you do the seemingly impossible things.
While other causes could inspire you temporarily, a cause that matters to you can inspire you indefinitely. It’s a spring of motivation that will never dry. Whenever you think that you run out of motivation,  you can always come to your cause to get a fresh dose of motivation.
2. Have a dream. A big dream.
Your cause is a powerful source of motivation but it’s still abstract in nature. You need to make it concrete in the form of a dream. Imagine how the world will be in the future. Imagine how people will live and work.
Having a dream is important because it’s difficult to be motivated if you don’t have anything to shoot for. Just think about people who play basketball. Will they be motivated to play if there is no basket to aim at? I don’t think so. They need a goal. You need a goal. That’s what your dream is for.
But just having a dream is insufficient. Your dream must be big enough to inspire you. It must be realistic but challenging. It must stretch your ability beyond your comfort zone.

3. Be hungry
To be truly motivated, you need to have hunger and not just desire. Having mere desire won’t take you through difficult times since you don’t want things badly enough. In many cases, hunger makes the difference between the best performers and the mediocre ones.
How can you have hunger? Your cause and your dream play a big role here. If you have a cause you care about and a big dream related to it, you should have the hunger inside of you. If you think that you are losing hunger, all you need to do is to connect again to your cause and dream. Let them inspire you and bring the hunger back.
4. Let go of the past
Believe it or not , your best demotivator is your past . Your past can drag your down before you realize it. Your past can give you a heavy burden on your shoulders.
The good news is it’s a burden you don’t have to carry. Take it off your shoulder and leave it. You might make mistakes in the past. You might disappoint others with what you did. But it’s over. It’s already in the past and there’s nothing you can do about it.
Today is a new day and you have the chance to start again. No matter how bad your past might be, you still have a bright future ahead waiting for you. Just don’t let the burden of the past stop you.

ASSALAMUALAIKUM AND HOLLA ,

Today my post is about STEP TO EXCEL .

WHAT IS EXCEL MEANING ?
EXCEL meaning is  being exceptionally good at or proficient in an activity or subject.

Everyone's idea of excelling at life is different . You are an individual person with unique set of life experiences. These experiences have influenced your ideas about yourself , your goals , the world and your definition of success . Excelling at life doesn't always mean that your life will be smoothly running machine where you've overcome every failure and achieved all of your dreams . Be realistic about what excelling at life means to you . Make creative , flexible goals , and develop a hardy sense of self-worth and confidence . It's also important to understand that success means doing your best.

PART ONE
Determining How You'd Like to Excel .

  1. Make a list of your ideals and values. Think about the ideals, values, and moral attributes that are important to you. These might include being a good friend or being healthy. Values and ideals are the ideas about life that you think you need to excel. They are different from goals in that goals are more concrete actions that can be completed.
  2. Make a list of all the ways you can excel in life. The first step is to figure out what excelling at life means to you, as well as for your values and the kind of life you want to have. It may take time to sort through all of these questions and to decide what excelling at life truly means for you. Try to create the broadest possible definition of excelling in life: short-term, long-term, big dreams and small successes.
  3. Make a list of your goals. Look at your list of the ways you can excel. Then look at your list of values and ideals. Begin to figure out how they match up. Which goals accentuate your views about life and the kind of person you want to be? Start to group the ways you want to excel into similar categories, such as career goals, hobby goals, health goals, family and friendship goals.
  4. Prioritize your goals. Now that you have started to get clear on what excelling means for you, start prioritizing your goals. Which ones are long-term goals that will make you feel like you are excelling at life? Which goals can you practice on a daily basis in order to feel like you are living your life in a positive direction?
  5. Find role models. Your journal will become your personal source for focus and inspiration. Perhaps you have people in your life who inspire you because of their attitudes, strength, and perseverance. Find a picture of them or something that reminds you of them, and paste it in your journal. Use your role models to inspire you and remind you of what you aspire to be.
PART TWO
Pursuing Your Goals

  1. Be flexible with your goals. Let your idea of excelling at life evolve as you do. Shaping your life into an experience you feel is excellent may take some trial and error. You may think you want to achieve something, such as a high-powered career as an attorney who works 80 hours a week. But what happens when you decide you want to have a family? You might find that as your values change, your goals will change to reflect those values.
  2. Periodically reassess your plan. Don’t limit yourself in making changes that you feel will match your definition of excellence in life. However, one of the biggest factors of success in living a fulfilling life is resilience.
  3. Don’t underestimate the little things. Make a list of small things you can excel in every day. This will help you feel like you’re moving towards excellence. Excelling at life comes down to appreciating yourself enough to know you deserve a fulfilling life. Besides career, money, family, there is also YOU!
  4. Continue to build your list of ways to excel. Using your journal, keep building your list of ways to excel in life. Life is a journey and there is always more to explore. As you continue to evolve and your ideas of what excelling at life continue to evolve, be flexible and listen to your intuition. Educate yourself about the goals you are striving for and don’t be afraid to switch directions if you have new ideas or thoughts.
  5. Post reminders of your goals. Remind yourself of where you want to be and the attitudes you want to encompass. Make posters or reminders that you hang in your office or home.

PART THREE
Building Confidence and Self-Worth

  1. Write down your positive qualities. In order to excel at life, you have to want to excel at life. You will have to develop discipline, perseverance, resilience, and drive. The easiest road to developing these qualities is learning to value yourself for your abilities, courage, worth, and valuing your existence. Engage in positive self-talk by writing down all the positive qualities you can think of about yourself. Add to this list as much as you can.
  2. Reframe negative themes in your life. You may have received negative messages in the past from your childhood, your social experiences, or the society you live in. Those messages can be much more ingrained than you think.
  3. Empower Yourself . A major factor in creating lasting, positive change in your life is that you have to see yourself as someone who can create change. Take responsibility for who you are, what you do, and what you choose. Embrace the power of choice in your life, and understand that every day you are making choices.
  4. Keep a positive perspective. Is the glass half empty or half full? Or is it just a glass with some water in it? Creating a life where you feel you are excelling depends heavily on your perspective. Along with creativity, resilience, and determination, your perspective on life and reality goes a long way in determining feeling as though you are striving for mastery of your life.
As a nutshell ,every excelling thing we can achieved it as long as we never quiet and never losing hope. Always thinking positively as our mind wil set a positive thing only . GOOD LUCK IN YOUR LIFE !

      STRIVE TO SUCCESS

Each day we are dreaming about our goals . Each day we are moving forward , step closer to be success . Sometimes we are so focused on oue objectives that we don't have time to think why we desire success . What is the reason ? Do we really need it ? Is it coming from the conscious or unconscious part of our mind ?

Each day we are dreaming about our goals . Each day we are moving forward , step closer to be success . Sometimes we are so focused on oue objectives that we don't have time to think why we desire success . What is the reason ? Do we really need it ? Is it coming from the conscious or unconscious part of our mind ?

I have a simple exercise for you , my friend . Don,t worry , it doesn't require you to move away from screen and it will take no more than few minutes . Just relax and focus thoughts on your latest success you have achieved . It doesn't have to be something really big and outstanding . A small success that you have recently experienced is absolutely enough . Ok ,got it ?

Imagine that achieving success is like a journey , sometimes it may be quiet easy , sometimes really tough , can be also short or very long . Let's figure out why you took this journey and what helped you to accomplish it .

Jump in your memories to the point where your journey began . Recall feelings and emotions connected to this moment . What was the reason you decided to set yourself this goal ? How did you take your first step? While moving your thoughts on the path toward your goal , try to identify factors that motivated you and increased your energy to go forward .Look also for those who obstructed your journey . How did you cope with them ? Finally , arrive to your destination point . What did you feel when you succeed ? Were you truly happy or maybe disappointed as the goal didn't bring you satisfaction and fulfillment .

Don't worry if above questions was difficult for you . To help you answering them , I share with you six main reasons , which I identify why we want to achive success .

1 . We want to achieve success because it is part of our life plans .

Success is strongly related with our life plans . We can distinguish certain milestones in our plans . like graduating , getting a desired job , starting own business or new relationship . Achieving these milestones are successes for us . Each of these goals brings us positive feelings and emotions because we know that our life plans are fulfilling and that we are making visible progress .

2 . We want the output related with certain success .

In many cases we want to experience benefits related with the achievements of a certain goal . In our minds , we have a strong association between these benefits and a state when we are successful . This desirable and enjoyable .

3 . We love the taste of winning .

Achieving success is a very positive experience also because it adds value to us and pumps our egos . Achieving success is like personal victory . People love winning . It is very natural . When two children play a game , each of them want to win . Its not important if there any material prize . They don't need any additional purposes . It is deep in our nature that we love taste of winning .

      4 . We need stimulation .

Knowing that there is a purpose , a goal we want to achieve . It stimulates us to act . The mored challenging goal , the stronger success feeling is related to it . This way , we can get a better motivation to achieve bigger goals and we get additional stimulus to self-improve , grow personally and learn to handle challenging goal .

5 . We want to compensate lacks and failures from the past .

We all make mistakes . Failures are definitely not nice , but they are unavoidable in our lives and they should always provide valuable feedback .They also raise a strong force that will push us toward further goals . We lost , but in the end we want to win . This victory , preceded by many failures , can compensate all previous unpleasant experiences . This pattern is very often responsible for a reason why we want to achieve success .

6 .We find success as a solution for our problems .

Enjoying success is a very positive experience .It can weaken influence of other , bad experiences in our life .We often find it easier to act in one direction , when we expect success , while we avoid handling different , unpleasant problems  in our life . What is important is that we are often unaware of this mechanism as it mostly works on unconscious level .

Now , one more time ask yourself questions from the first part of this article . Is it easier now to answer them and identify your reasons ?

I'm sure you have just achieved higher level of consciousness , as far as achieving success is concerned .
